Martha Whitfield's Obituary
Martha Mae Whitfield Martha Mae Whitfield born to the
late Willie James and Jennie Mae Brim on July 10, 1950, in
Scooba, MS. She gave her life to Christ at a young age. She was
a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church
Tupelo until her health began to fail.
Martha attended Belden School before going to Tupelo High
School. She began working at the North Mississippi Medical
Center dietary department for nearly 40 years before retiring.
She began working for Tupelo public school District and
retired from there too. Martha united into holy matrimony
with Michael Paul Trimble and had two children. Later, she
united in holy matrimony with Jimmie Dale “Sam” Whitfield
and had one child.
