*Gerald Lanier Edwards was born to Donald Ray and Mattie M. Edwards in Tupelo, MS on August 15, 1972. He grew up as a member of White Hill M. B. Church and later joined TCD.
Gerald worked several jobs around Tupelo, MS, but was well known for being a musician and a photographer. He enjoyed getting dressed up with his favorite hat to match to spend time with his family and friends.
His was preceded in death by his father: Donald Ray Edwards, grandparents: James Curtis Edwards, Sr., Emmer Jean Metcalf Edwards, Mack L. McGaughy, Cora McGaughy, and cousin: Teresa McGaughy.
Memories of Gerald will always be cherished by his mother: Mattie M. Edwards, Shannon, MS, his 2 children: Sariyah and Javontae (Charlie), Tupelo, MS, his 2 brothers: Venicklia Edwards, Espana Edwards, Shannon, MS, his 4 sisters: Gloria Thomas, Tupelo, MS, LaTonya Edwards, Tupelo, MS, Markita Bradley (Chris) Atlanta, GA, Stephanie Wright (Alvis) Tupelo, MS, special aunt: Cora McGaughy, and 3 nieces: Porcia, Santiago, Espantasia.
He also leaves cherished memories with 8 aunts, 6 uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
